How to request deletion of your data

There are three routes. Any of them works.

1. From your project (fastest)

Run the disconnect command in Claude Code or Codex. That immediately deletes the access authorization to your Instagram and ends the connection.

2. From Instagram

Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites → Polozi Social → Remove. Meta notifies us automatically and the authorization is deleted.

3. By e-mail

Write to polozi@polozi.com.br with the subject "Data deletion" and the Instagram username that was connected. We respond within 15 days.

What is deleted

Data	When

Publication records (link, caption, dates)	on completion of the request

Your photo and video files do not need to be deleted because they were never stored. They are available only during the window in which Instagram downloads them, and are deleted right afterwards. What you published stays on your Instagram, under your control — to remove it from there, use Instagram itself.

What is kept, and why

The consent record — version of the text, date, time and IP address of the acceptance — is kept even after deletion, dissociated from the remaining data.

This is not a loophole: it is the proof that the authorization existed and that it was revoked. Without it, we have no way to demonstrate compliance if Meta or the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD) asks. The LGPD, in article 16, II, allows retention for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Nothing in that record makes it possible to publish on your behalf — the access authorization has already been destroyed.
